Assad Photo Gallery

Assad14Today's protests in Lebanon are a fascinating example of civic organizing and non-violent social protest in the Middle East. More thoughts and photos on the Beirut rally shortly.

In the meantime, it's time for us to imagine what it must be like to grow up under the Syrian presence and to consider the cult-of-personality created by the Assad family in both Lebanon and Syria.
